The death of Colleen Cecilia (Kenny) Smallwood-Colman-Travis wife of Orland Travis of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 61. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Cecilia (Estey) Kenny. She worked for RBC Dominion Security in Moncton and was a member of the Miramichi Art Core.
Besides her husband: Orland, Colleen is survived by: two sons: Quentin Smallwood of Miramichi, NB; Orlan Smallwood (Cassidy Murphy) of Cochrane, AB; one step-son: Cole Travis of Edmonton, AB; three sisters: Judy Woods (John) of Miramichi, NB; Janet Taylor (Brant) of South Esk, NB; Patricia Kenny of Miramichi, NB; three brothers: Giles (Yolande), Paul (Marlyn) all of MIramichi, NB; Stephen (Michele) of Saint John, NB; three grandchildren: Luke, Ellie and Owen Smallwood and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Colleen is predeceased one nephew: Micheal Kenny and one half brother: Eugene Estey.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM and from the Little Southwest Baptist Church on Thursday from 7-9 PM only. Funeral Service will be held from the Little Southwest Baptist Church on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2 PM with Pastor Raymond Pitcher officiating.
Burial will take place in the Little Southwest Baptist Cemetery later in the spring.
In Colleen’s memory a donations may be made to the NB Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society.
