Richard “Ritchie” Francis Richardson

Richard “Ritchie” Francis Richardson husband of the late Francine (Doran)Richardson of Gorman Blvd, Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday August 21, 2021, at the age of 86.

Born in Nelson Miramichi, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Russell) Richardson. He was retired from Burchills Plywood Mill and a Heavy Equipment Operator for the village of Nelson.

He is survived by his three daughters, Patti Rice (David) of Summerside PEI, Heather Richardson (Gary Lynch) of Nowlanville and Charlene Callahan (Rod) of Douglastown; his three sons, Chris Richardson (Tanya) of Craigville, Keith Richardson (André) of Miramichi and Kirk Richardson (Laura) of British Columbia; his 7 grandchildren Christina, Stacey, Mandi, Jeremy, Ricky, Amber and Randy and his 15 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, grandson, brothers Raymond, Melvin and sisters Shirley, Bernetta and Yvonne.

At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 30, 2021 at 11 am at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church with Father John Keoughan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In his memory, donations to Miramichi SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
