The death of Marion Louise Burtt, wife of Arden Burtt of Boom Road, NB, occurred on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 82. Born in Good Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Florence (Thompson) Pryor. Marion was a retired School Teacher and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 10 and past member of the Red Bank Women’s Institute. She enjoyed playing bingo, crib, quilting and talking on the phone.
Besides her husband, Arden, she is survived by: daughters: Shelley of Exmoor, NB; Sherry of Boom Road, NB; sons: Kevin and Kenny both of Mississauga, ON; sisters: Linda Harris (Wesley) of Boom Road, NB; Susan Mullin (Wilfred) of Sunny Corner, NB; brothers: Donnie (the late Elaine) of Wakefield, NB; Carl (the late Ann White) of Boom Road, NB; sisters-in-law: Vera and Bunny Pryor; nieces: Lisa Boyd, Michelle Britton, Laura Gaddas, Stacey Innes and Shannon Silliker; nephews: Michael & Trevor Pryor.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by: infant sister: Sharon; brothers: Freddie (Phyllis), Richard and infant brother: Dale.
At Marion’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A public graveside service will take place at the St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Boom Road, NB on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1 PM with Rev. Geza Szemök officiating.
