      1937 – 2021

Shirley Amy MacDonald, wife of James MacDonald of Woodstock, NB and formerly of Miramichi passed away at the Woodstock Manor on April 4, 2021 at the age of 84.

Born in Loggieville, on February 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Stuart Charles and Mary Alice (Matthews) Trevors.  She was a homemaker and Christian by faith.

Shirley is survived by her husband, James MacDonald; five daughters: Susan Crossman (Will), Brenda Harrison, Heather Disher (Raymond), Fay Fraser (Dwight) and Jennifer Pettersen (Jeff); two sons: James MacDonald (Manon) and John MacDonald (Wilma); 23 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; two sisters: Gertrude and Jennie.  She was predeceased by her parents, daughter Judith, son Barry, sisters: Sadie and Alice, brother Edward.

A PUBLIC Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  A PRIVATE Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

PLEASE NOTE: as per COVID-19 Regulations face masks and social distancing are mandatory.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
