Former graduates of JMH got a chance to get dressed up and visit their old school while helping raise money. Sarah Russell spearheaded the effort for the Mom and Dad Prom that saw 100 former graduates get all shined up and dance the night away in the cafeteria. She says the event raised a few thousand dollars and the money will be spent one something that will spruce up the school or its sporting facilities.
It might be the last time they can have a licensed event at the school as some policies have changed that will prohibit licensed events in the school in the future. Russell and her committee are already devising other fun ways to get alumni involved in raising money for their former high school.
Tanya Crocker and Jimmy Brown were voted prom king and queen.
