$3000 raised for young diabetes patient

It was a busy weekend at Miramichi Folklore Park. The Friday Night Racket saw the first gospel night with many singers and musicians on hand. Featured performers included Mary Gifford, Kelly Enright, Gloria Buckley, Jacob and Glenn McAllister, Maxine Turcotte, Harry Miller, Leola Mahoney, Gordon Green, Bobby Tozer, Timothy McKibbon and Paul Hubbard.Missing from photo is Bud MacDonald Thanks goes out to Harry and Jenny Miller for organizing and making the night a success.

On Saturday night Zack's Band were on hand for the regular first Saturday of the month Seniors Dance and on Sunday afternoon over $3000.00 was raised at a benefit concert for 12 year old Logan Crawford who was recently diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. Zack's Band were on hand again to do there music and to back up the many performers who showed up for this very worthwhile cause. Thanks goes out to the many people who helped.

This Friday's Racket will feature the music of Jack Bowie.The music will be from 8 till 11. Admission will be $5.FNR-Gospel Night (1)
